In this volume, edited by Svenja Marks, Dorothee Schäfer, Werner Thole, Michael Behnisch and Julia Hildebrand, the challenges and opportunities of allowing and shaping intimacy in different pedagogical contexts are discussed. On the basis of theoretical verifications of the research project PISUM and empirically collected cases from schools, inpatient child and youth welfare, child and youth work as well as from associations, indications for an ethical-normative framing of the pedagogical design of intimacy are developed.
