Further information

  • Doctoral project: Social pedagogical work with young mothers and fathers in mother/father-child facilities! Interest: Working out the conflict issues of young mothers living in mother/father-child facilities on the basis of 31 guided interviews with the perspective of the particular challenges young parents face and how to work with them in a socio-pedagogical way to meet these challenges.

  • Teaching planning: I coordinate and plan the Institute's teaching program and am always open to suggestions for possible teaching assignments. So if you know any lecturers who could enrich our course offerings with their knowledge and expertise, or if you have any requests regarding the course offerings, please let me know. The teaching assignments should serve the interface between science and practice and provide an in-depth insight into different social pedagogical fields of action or concretize discourses that have been taught during the course with regard to practice.

  • Studied educational science with a focus on social work at TU Dortmund University, graduated in 2008 with a degree in education, since then research assistant at the institute
  • Training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist at the AFKV Gelsenkirchen, license to practice in 2014, since then working part-time in her own practice
  • EU research project application "Familyplatform" 2008-2009 (successful application)
  • Research project of the Stiftung Deutsche Jugendmarke e.V. "Quality development of socio-educational work in mother/father/child facilities" cooperation project with ten facilities in NRW and Berlin/Brandenburg 2009-2012
  • Active committee member on the TU Dortmund University Staff Council 2015-2018
