A new publication by Kathrin Schulze

Antiziganism is a powerful complex in pedagogical work with young people. Within the framework of an ethnographic study of two youth centers, Kathrin Schulze shows how this unfolds in everyday practice. She shows to what extent socio-educational professionals differentiate young people situationally on the basis of antiziganistic stereotypes and thus produce discriminatory effects. By focusing on the everyday-situational production practice of antiziganistic orders, she contributes to the hitherto neglected problematization of antiziganism in the context of social work.
